Contains the following types of materials: photographs, postcards. Covers the following war and time period: Mexican Border disturbance, World War II (WWII). Contains photographs of the following military units: 128th Evacuation Hospital; Missouri National Guard. General description of the collection: The Watkins A. Broyles photograph collection is about evenly split in its coverage of what appears to be a unit of the Missouri National Guard on the Mexican Border in 1916 and what appears to be the 128th Evacuation Hospital in Sicily and Italy in 1943. The photos are all snapshots, but are fairly well captioned as to names of individuals and locations. In neither case is the coverage comprehensive. A set of picture postcards of scenes in North Africa and Sicily is in the last folder.
